Timing is Everything

This morning I got up and did my usual morning routine. After breakfast I checked the price of Bitcoin and saw it had shot up from around $9700.00 to over $10,400.00 at about 7pm the evening before and had settled down to right around $10,100.00 or so.

It had been very steady at that price for 12 hours. I thought, perfect! I will set a stop-loss at $9,998.89, catch it if it drops and re-buy at a lower price.

I went into my Coinbase Pro account and got started doing it and then got distracted. When I got back less than 10 minutes later, it had dropped down to $9500.00. I can’t believe I missed it!

I could have sold, locking in a $400.00 profit and then picked it back up for $500.00 less! Hopefully there’ll be another opportunity soon.

Timing is Everything!
